Legal Center
Transparency is core to our mission. Here is a comprehensive breakdown of how we handle your data, your rights, and the rules of the road for using Recipe Store.
Questions about your data?
Our privacy team is real people, not bots.
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 12, 2026 · Version 1.3
At Studio Parkar ("we", "us", "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through the Recipe Store mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
We collect strictly what is necessary to provide our Service:
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and the credentials needed to authenticate and sync your account. If you use social login such as Google, we receive basic profile information from that provider.
- User Content: Recipes, images, notes, reminders, and collections you explicitly save or create.
- Operational Device Data: Limited technical metadata such as app version, build number, device type, operating system version, and coarse event context needed for reliability monitoring and product analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Service Delivery: To authenticate you, sync your recipes across devices, restore your data, and support reminders, subscriptions, and saved imports.
- Communications: To send important product updates or respond to support inquiries.
- Improvement and Reliability: To understand which high-level product flows are being used, diagnose failures, and improve app stability without collecting recipe text or raw content for analytics.
3. Data Handling & Third-Party Services
We do not sell your data. We use trusted third-party processors to help us run the service. These may include providers for secure database hosting, user authentication, subscriptions, analytics, and reliability monitoring.
Telemetry, Analytics, and Error Monitoring
Recipe Store uses PostHog for limited product analytics and Sentry for crash reporting, handled errors, and reliability monitoring in the mobile app. We use these tools to understand whether major flows are working, such as app launch, sign-in, search, recipe saves, reminders, paywall views, purchases, and restore flows.
Our telemetry is designed to collect minimal metadata. We do not send recipe text, notes, raw scraped content, authentication tokens, request or response bodies, session replay, screen recordings, or full URLs that include sensitive query parameters. Where possible, links and routes are sanitized before they are sent.
Analytics and reliability events may include fields such as app version, build number, anonymized or account-linked identifiers, feature source, screen or flow origin, event counts, error classifications, and HTTP status codes when relevant to debugging a failure.
Google User Data Policy
If you choose to sign in with Google, we access only your basic profile information (Name, Email, Avatar). We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
We do not use Google data for advertising, retargeting, or market research. You can revoke our access at any time via your Google Account Permissions.
4. Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, we offer the same high standard of privacy controls:
- Access: You can request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Correction: You can edit your profile and recipes directly in the app.
- Deletion: You can delete your account from the Settings menu. This permanently wipes your data from our servers within 30 days.
- Export: You can export your recipes to standard formats (PDF, Text) at any time.

3. Service Operations and Monitoring
You agree that we may process limited operational telemetry needed to run, secure, and improve the Service, including diagnostic information, subscription and restore outcomes, and high-level analytics about major product flows. We handle this information as described in the Privacy Policy and do not use it to sell targeted advertising based on your recipe content.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for burned dinners or failed soufflés resulting from recipe errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio Parkar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of the Service.
