Privacy & Terms for Recipe Store.

We built Recipe Store to be private by design. This policy explains the information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including how Google user data is handled when you sign in with Google.

Information we collect

• Account basics. Email address, hashed identifiers, and device tokens needed to create and secure your account.
• Google user data (optional). If you choose “Continue with Google,” Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password or access to Drive, Calendar, Gmail, or other Google data.
• Recipe content. Saved recipes, images, modifiers, and collections that you create inside the app.
• Usage diagnostics. Aggregated analytics and crash reports that help us improve Recipe Store. These do not include the contents of your recipes.
• Support communications. Emails you send to our support or privacy inboxes so we can respond.

How we use your information

• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Sync your recipes, preferences, and presets across devices.
• Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• Improve the product through aggregated analytics and crash diagnostics.

How Google user data is handled

Google data is used strictly to sign you in and personalize your profile. We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not combine Google data with marketing data, sell it, or share it with advertisers.

• Stored securely with encryption at rest and in transit.
• Accessible only to systems and team members who need it to run Recipe Store.
• Never shared with third parties except trusted processors that help deliver the service.
• Remains under your control — you can revoke access any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share data only with service providers that help us operate Recipe Store, under agreements that require them to protect your information. We may disclose information if required by law or to enforce our Terms.

Data retention & deletion

• Recipe data and account details remain until you delete them in the app or request deletion.
• Diagnostic logs are kept for up to 180 days, then aggregated or deleted.
• You can delete your account in Settings or by emailing [email protected]. We will remove your account and associated Google data within 30 days.
